I know this is political, but what was Gov. Jindal thinking with his recent rebuttal to President Obama's speech on the economy?

A lot of news sites and bloggers have pointed out that ridiculing money for natural-disaster research is kind of a bad move when you are the governor of a HURRICANE PRONE STATE! Duh. Idiot.
