Wow, our local paper reports that Redoubt has erupted 18 times since March 22, with more to come and predictions that this could go on for months!
I ran errands on Sunday, thinking that most people would stay home because of the ashfall -- but no, everyone had the same idea so the stores were crowded as usual. Apparently Alaskans don't give a flying fig about a tiny bit of ash.
