The sunny 70 degree weather disappeared and has been replaced with gray skies that threaten to open up and dump rain on us all. We sure were lucky to get those nice days -- it's been great to come home and have cocktails outside on the deck with D and his parents.
Had a short chat with my mom this morning and found out my Korean grandma is battling cancer. Please keep her, and my aunt and my dad in your thoughts, as they are also fighting cancer. I feel sad and helpless and guilty for being so far away, but I know my family is strong and supportive for one another. Love you all.

You're so sweet. Don't worry too much about them, we are taking good care of them. They have their good days and bad days, but they have a good attitude so it's not so bad. Crazy how they all have cancer huh? Maybe its the water.
